Job Title: Senior Closing Specialist - Truist Financial Corporation Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA Salary: Competitive, based on experience Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Senior Closing Specialist to join their team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a regular, full-time position with eligibility for benefits. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the loan closing process from term sheet through funding for high-risk and complex transactions. You will also ensure compliance with company credit policies, procedures, approvals, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Review and execute legal documentation for loan closings - Possess knowledge of loan closing and lending regulatory requirements - Proactively identify and manage risks associated with transactions - Understand and handle participations and syndications - Review title work, surveys, lien filings, and collateral - Familiarity with specialty lending, such as NMTC, LSTA, and complex large corporate deals - Meet or exceed client expectations Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in credit operations, loan consultation, loan administration, execution of legal documentation, loan origination, real estate construction, banking operations, or related field - Proficiency with MS Office applications - Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under tight constraints - Basic commercial credit knowledge and loan accounting experience Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Paralegal experience with wholesale lending transactions from the lender's perspective - Knowledge of commercial loan systems (NCino, AFSVision, LoanIQ) and basic loan structures and hierarchies Benefits: - Eligible for benefits if working 20 or more hours per week - Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and 401k plan available - Minimum of 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and full-time/part-time status) and 10 sick days (prorated) - Paid holidays - Potential eligibility for defined benefit pension plan, restricted stock units, and/or deferred compensation plan Join the team at Truist Financial Corporation and take your career to the next level.
