A respected law firm based in St. Louis, MO, is looking for an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic defense litigation team. This hybrid role involves a combination of office and remote work, with a minimum requirement of one day per week in the office. Duties:
- Manage defense litigation cases from initiation through to resolution
- Represent clients in product liability, toxic tort, and general liability matters
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients, ensuring high-quality legal service
- Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Appear in court for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Provide legal guidance and strategic recommendations to clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
- 1-4 years of defense litigation experience
- Hands-on experience managing cases from start to finish
- Prior experience in product liability, toxic tort, or general liability preferred
- Must be licensed to practice in Missouri or Illinois
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Admission to practice in the state of Missouri or Illinois
