The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in patent prosecution within the life sciences industry. They should also have a familiarity with technology transactions such as collaborations, licensing, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements. Additionally, experience in evaluating and managing patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios, performing IP due diligence for corporate transactions, and handling strategic commercial agreements is preferred.

The candidate must have strong academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills. A Juris Doctorate degree and admission to the USPTO are required. They must also be admitted to practice law in Ohio, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Oregon, or New Jersey.
