Associate Attorney - General Liability (Atlanta, GA)

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze claims and causes of action
- Conduct extensive legal research and draft briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs
- Maintain an annual billable amount of 1950 hours
- Represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions
- Draft and respond to discovery requests
- Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses
- Prepare and attend trials
- Some travel may be required

Requirements:
- 2-4 years of civil litigation experience with a focus on insurance defense
- Familiarity with handling civil cases from start to finish
- Experience with depositions, drafting and arguing motions, attending hearings and trials, and participating in negotiations and mediations
- . from an ABA-approved law school
- Admitted to practice in the state of GA, other states a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent research and written and oral communication abilities
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team
- Prompt response to email and phone inquiries
- Excellent client skills and telephone manner
