Senior Case Coordinator - Immigration Law
Duties: Exercising strong technical competence, organizational skills, and excellent customer service to support legal teams and clients in fast-paced and employee-focused corporate immigration firm. Process incoming immigration paperwork from clients and government agencies. Maintain case files in a primarily paperless office environment. Independently draft and monitor cases for PERM (IV) & NIV visas. Correspond with clients and third-party vendors and manage more complex client communications. Transition to owning case strategy, as required. Identify potential client issues and suggest solutions. Update and maintain immigration tracking database with great accuracy. Assist with the allocation of case work among team members. Quickly gain expertise in immigration tracking database. Become involved in driving client programs.

Qualification and Experience

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of immigration paralegal/case coordinator experience in a business immigration law environment. Solid/consistent job tenure. Ability to prepare PERM & NIV petitions (H1B, TN, L1 highly advantageous). Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proven track record of managing multiple cases simultaneously. Capacity to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work effectively within all levels of a client’s organization. Excellent time management, organization, and multi-tasking abilities. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate recommendations for improvement. Able to thrive with minimal supervision and direction. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others. Willingness to accept responsibility and show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness. Strong desire to learn and develop career.
