- Must be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing with at least 5 years of civil litigation experience
- Strong understanding of Florida law and civil procedure, as well as exceptional legal research and writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as a willingness to embrace and utilize cutting edge technology

- Prepare cases for trial and provide support during trial as second or third chair
- Dive deeply into the elements of each case and preserve all evidence to win at trial
- Seek out opportunities to improve client's case, such as pursuing punitive damages or conducting ) depositions
- Deposition experience, including preparing clients and deposing opposing expert witnesses
- Extensive understanding of proposals for settlements, offers for judgments, and other legal procedures
- Medical knowledge relevant to personal injury litigation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing cases and deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information
- Embrace technology and utilize it to better serve clients
- Must be able to type at least 35 words per minute

As a non-trial litigation attorney at MattLaw®, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced attorneys and support staff to protect the most vulnerable members of our society. We specialize in personal injury cases, particularly those involving children, the elderly, and those who cannot protect themselves. As a member of the Florida Bar in good standing with at least 5 years of civil litigation experience, you will have a strong understanding of Florida law and civil procedure. You will work closely with clients and your team to seize upon every opportunity to improve our client's case, whether it be seeking punitive damages or conducting ) depositions.
