The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Family Law Associate Attorney to join our growing team in our Illinois office located in Highland Park, IL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, manage your own caseload, and contribute to the overall success of our firm. Responsibilities include: Representing clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, paternity, prenuptials, and post-judgment matters Conducting client consultations and providing legal advice and guidance Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs Attending court hearings and trials Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other professionals in the legal community Managing your own caseload and staying organized and efficient Qualifications: from an accredited law school Active bar license in good standing in the state of Illinois 2-5 years of experience practicing family law, with a strong understanding of Illinois family law statutes and procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong negotiation and advocacy skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and processes Why Work at Sterling Lawyers?
