Citi, the leading global bank, is seeking a Senior Trade Legal Counsel to support their Global Trade business. This role will involve advising business units on various aspects of the Trade business, including Core Trade, EAF, Asset Distribution, and ESG. The attorney will also be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating documentation for these transactions.

Responsibilities:

- Advise business units on a broad range of global trade transactions
- Provide advice on Trade product structures and documentation
- Advise on New York law matters for Citi's non-US branches, subsidiaries, and affiliates
- Collaborate with Citi control functions on issues affecting the Trade business
- Work on regional and global projects and initiatives, such as digitization
- Coordinate with internal and external counsel on global issues
- Stay updated on laws and customary practices related to relevant businesses

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Senior Trade Legal Counsel will have primary responsibility for providing legal coverage for Export Agency Finance facilities, Core Trade Facilities, and FRRM (Risk distribution, asset sales, etc.).
