Job Title: Commercial Finance Associate

Experience Information:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in drafting, negotiation, and closing of commercial lending transactions
- Familiarity with Article 9 secured transactions
- Experience with tax-advantaged financing, tax credits, real estate, and/or mergers and acquisitions preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

- Drafting, negotiating, and closing commercial lending transactions
- Understanding of Article 9 secured transactions
- Experience with tax-advantaged financing, tax credits, real estate, and/or mergers and acquisitions preferred but not required
- Drafting and negotiating intercreditor agreements
- Working with multiple parties including banks, financial institutions, private equity firms, state and local governments, and their respective counsel
- Management and coordination of transactions
- Opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm

Requirements:

- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois, Texas, Missouri, or Washington .
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Outgoing, self-starter attitude

Location:

- Chicago, Dallas, St. Louis or Washington .
