Responsibilities

- Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda
- Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and insurance carriers
- Assist with case strategy and provide litigation support to partners and senior associates
- Meet billable hour requirements and maintain accurate time entries
- Stay informed on industry developments and changes in the law
- Participate in continuing legal education activities
- Collaborate with team members on case management and strategy
- Contribute to the growth and success of the General Liability Practice
