WithumSmith+Brown is currently seeking a Transaction Advisory M&A Senior Manager to join their team. The Senior Manager will support the firm nationwide and can work remotely within the US or in one of the following office locations: Boston, MA; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Princeton, NJ; East Brunswick, NJ; Red Bank, NJ; Whippany, NJ; Saddle Brook, NJ; Bethesda, MD; Los Angeles, CA; Orange County, CA; or San Francisco, CA. The role will involve leading and executing tax structuring and tax diligence project work, as well as engaging in marketing and business development activities. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, Masters in Business Taxation (MBT) or JD/LLM, 5+ years of related work experience, and excellent analytical skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate due diligence and tax structuring engagements
- Provide tax advice and assistance to clients on various transactions
- Liaise with target companies and tax advisors to gather necessary information for analysis
- Identify opportunities for tax optimization and develop overall tax strategy
- Engage in marketing and business development activities
- Mentor and develop team members while contributing to M&A best practices

Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Masters in Business Taxation (MBT) or JD/LLM required
- 5+ years of related work experience, preferably in M&A
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
- Prioritization and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Project leadership experience in tax structuring and due diligence
- Strong knowledge of . federal income tax law and technical writing skills

Compensation:
- Varies by location, with a range of $175,000 - $200,000 in California, Washington State, Washington ., and NYC
