Job Description:
- Opportunity to focus on US tax information reporting & withholding matters.
- Work in a group environment on challenging engagements across all financial services sectors.
- Specialization in assisting clients with mission-critical operational tax issues and customer reporting issues.
- Work closely with colleagues to assist clients in understanding relevant tax rules and implementing changes to their operations, processes and systems.
- Work on challenging engagements in the financial services, banking, insurance, and multinational sectors.
- Engagements focus on non-resident alien (NRA) withholding and reporting, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), and domestic withholding and reporting matters.
- Work on global compliance and reporting initiatives such as the Common Reporting Standard (CRS).
- Progress within EY and the CTORS tax team to become a trusted business advisor to clients.
- Benefit from being led and mentored by nationally recognized tax professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Interface daily with superiors, peers, subordinates, and clients on large and small CTORS projects.
- Interpret IRS Code and Regulations, draft guidance, and develop requirements to help clients implement tax rules.
- Conduct gap analysis of clients' policies, procedures, and systems and write business requirements.
- Prepare documentation including presentations and flow charts.
- Involved in technical analysis, process improvement, and responding to requests for proposals from clients.
- Support the development of innovative technology solutions.
- Train and manage staff located in remote delivery centers.

Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to read and interpret IRS Code, regulations, and instructions.
- Strong writing skills for policy and procedure writing.
- Ability to interface with all facets of the business.
- Ability to multitask and manage projects effectively.
- Creative problem-solving and strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work as both an individual contributor and team member.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and ., . in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience.
- Licensed attorney, CPA, Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean, or equivalent certification, or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
- Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, IIB.
- Demonstrated interest in tax information reporting and withholding work or experience working with these matters.
