Commercial leasing remains one of the most active and stable segments of real estate law, and firms are expanding their leasing teams to meet continual demand across office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use markets.

If you have experience in leasing or related real estate work, including:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial leases (landlord and/or tenant)

  • Office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use leasing

  • Subleases, assignments, and lease modifications

  • Ground leases and build-to-suit agreements

  • Due diligence and operational property matters

  • Support for acquisitions and development transactions

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases for landlords and tenants.

  • Handle office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use leasing transactions.

  • Prepare subleases, assignments, amendments, and lease-related agreements.

  • Work on ground leasing, build-to-suit arrangements, and specialized leasing structures.

  • Assist with due diligence, property operations, and cross-department real estate matters.

  • Collaborate with partners, clients, and property teams on ongoing leasing and portfolio needs.

Requirements

  • 1–10+ years of commercial leasing or real estate transactional experience.

  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills with leasing independence preferred.

  • Familiarity with office, industrial, retail, or mixed-use markets.

  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing leasing matters efficiently.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the bar in at least one . jurisdiction.
