Job Overview: A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney to lead and manage all aspects of electronic discovery projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in e-discovery, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to leverage technology to streamline processes and deliver optimal client results.
Duties:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives and requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for each stage of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
- Collaborate with clients and technology providers to integrate AI technology into the e-discovery platform, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement custom workflows to optimize cost-effectiveness and speed-to-evidence for clients.
- Create and refine standard documentation, including ESI protocols, Protective Orders, review protocols, training guides, and review workflows.
- Manage review teams, providing feedback and guidance to ensure industry-leading speed and accuracy.
- Guide team leads and facilitate a collaborative team environment focused on problem-solving and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in e-discovery.
- Active license in good standing with a State Bar.
- Proficiency in all phases of the EDRM, including identification, preservation, collection, review, and production.
- Experience conducting interviews with IT personnel and developing preservation strategies.
- Proficient in negotiating ESI protocols and conducting custodial interviews.
- Familiarity with drafting and testing keyword searches.
- Previous experience managing document review projects in a law firm, in-house legal department, or consulting firm.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to adapt work schedule to support global client engagements across various time zones.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
Education and Certifications:
- A bachelor's degree (BS or BA) is required.
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree required.
