Job Summary
DLA Piper is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its Litigation group. The ideal candidate for this position will have six (6) plus years of experience with drafting litigation documents, such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions in health care, ERISA and commercial litigation matters. State and federal court experience is a plus. The Attorney’s primary responsibilities will involve reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda. This is a non-partnership track position and is open to any of our US offices with preference for the Miami or Philadelphia offices.

Job Responsibilities

- Drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions in health care, ERISA and commercial litigation matters
- Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
- Collaborating with and providing support to the Litigation team
- Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
- Producing deliverables, answering ,000 per year.
