Job Title: Litigation Associate – Mid-Level to Senior
Experience: 4+ years in complex civil litigation defense
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Location: Portland, Oregon (hybrid work schedule available)
Department: Litigation
Onboarding: Regular contact with team and ongoing mentorship
Qualifications:
- Strong academic record and excellent communication skills
- Minimum of 2 years of private law firm practice
- Proficient in legal research and analysis
- Creative legal strategy development
- Trial experience or trial preparation experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Values diversity and teamwork
- Optimistic and thrives in a dynamic work setting
- Eager to take on responsibility
- Must be admitted to practice in Oregon (Washington experience a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of litigation with increasing responsibility
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings
- Review and propound discovery
- Manage files, appear, and present arguments at hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
- Work closely with a group of accomplished lawyers and become part of a nationally-recognized litigation team
