Law Firm is seeking an experienced patent prosecution paralegal in Western Washington, preferably in the Seattle area, for a full-time telecommuting position. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in electronically filing patent applications, office action responses, and related papers via the USPTO’s EFS-Web site, as well as proficiency with the USPTO’s PAIR web site.

Job Description:
• Preparing information disclosure statements and skeleton office action responses
• Filing, reporting, and invoicing patent applications, office action responses, and other paperwork
• Communicating with clients electronically and by phone as required
• Accessing client extranet sites and otherwise retrieving client communications regarding prosecution tasks
• Managing the prosecution docket, including retrieval of documents over private PAIR and utilization of a web-based prosecution tool
• Microsoft Word experience is essential; Apple Mac experience is preferred but not required
• Apple iPhone ownership is also preferred but not required
• Proactive, self-starting individual, who is comfortable working from home and interacting with the principal of the law firm primarily by email, text message, and phone

Salary and Benefits:
