Duties:

  • Represent clients in various civil practice areas, including litigation, transactions, and employment matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and other essential paperwork.
  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel to both individual and business clients.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on complex cases, offering legal insights and support.
  • Manage client files and maintain effective communication throughout the lifecycle of legal matters.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and provide recommendations on case developments.
  • Ensure timely completion of legal tasks and meet client expectations and deadlines.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and continuously enhance professional knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on civil practice areas such as litigation, transactions, or employment law.
  • Admission to the New Mexico Bar is required.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing client cases.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and professional integrity.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active and unrestricted license to practice law in the state of New Mexico.
