This is a great opportunity to work with and learn from some of the most prominent M&A practitioners in the country. ## Qualifications The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: * A minimum of five years of strategic M&A experience * Experience in drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and other transaction documents relating to acquisitions of publicly traded and privately held companies * Experience in overseeing due diligence investigations of acquisition targets * Experience in preparing acquisition-related proxy statements, tender offer documents, information statements and other disclosure documents * Experience in organizing closings of complex M&A transactions * Knowledge of structuring M&A transactions, the application of the federal securities laws to M&A transactions and Delaware jurisprudence relating to directors’ responsibilities in the M&A area * Experience working with publicly traded technology companies * Strong work ethic and comfort supervising, managing and otherwise working with large deal teams on complex transactions * Outstanding writing and analytical skills * Admission to the California bar ## Benefits Compensation for this role will be top-of-market, with an annualized salary range of $345,000 to $415,000, depending on the candidate’s overall experience and other job-related factors. This position may be eligible for a discretionary or an hours-based bonus, consistent with market practice.
