The Atlanta, GA office of Chamberlain Hrdlicka is currently seeking a Tax Controversy Associate with at least 4 years of experience in tax controversy matters. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handling tax disputes, including tax controversy, disputes, litigation, audits, and appeals
- Dealing with federal income and estate/gift tax issues
- Communicating clearly and effectively in oral and written form
- Working independently and efficiently, as well as within a team environment
- Collaborating extensively with other attorneys, paralegals, and office staff
- Admitted to practice in at least one state (Georgia is a plus)

Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in tax controversy matters
- Practical experience with tax disputes, litigation, audits, and appeals
- Experience with federal income and estate/gift tax issues
- Law firm, accounting firm, IRS, Tax Court, and/or Department of Justice (Tax Division) experience preferred
- Degree in accounting, CPA license, or . in Tax strongly preferred, but not required
- Excellent academic and employment credentials
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Must be admitted to practice in at least one state (Georgia is a plus)
