They are currently looking for an Employment Counsel to join their team in New York, NY on a full-time basis, with the option for a hybrid work schedule. As a part of the in-house legal team, you will play a critical role in the global employment law team. The Role:

As Employment Counsel, you will work closely with the employment lawyers, the People Team, and other teams within the company to address a variety of employment law challenges. This includes providing advice and counseling on issues such as performance management, employee leaves, and investigations. You will also work with the Litigation Team on any employment-related claims and litigation. Additionally, you will be involved in the company's employment compliance program and will have the opportunity to work on strategic projects and contribute to a range of employment law matters.

Core Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day advice and counseling on employment law issues to the People and Recruiting Teams and the business
- Support the Litigation Team on employment-related claims and litigation
- Assist with OFCCP and pay data reporting obligations in the US
- Deliver trainings on anti-harassment, anti-discrimination, and elimination of bias
- Supervise and advise on internal investigations
- Stay up-to-date on changes in employment law and ensure contracts and policies are updated accordingly

- JD and bar admission in the applicable state of employment

- Knowledge of and experience with US employment laws, counseling, and investigations
- Ability to work in the office 4 days a week initially, with the option for 2-3 days longer term
