As a Staff Attorney for the Veterans Advocacy Project, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans and their families. Your duties will include evaluating clients' claims, providing direct representation in all stages of litigation and advocacy, and counseling individuals seeking civil legal assistance. You will also have the chance to establish and maintain relationships with community partners to ensure integrated services and address systemic barriers facing veterans. To be considered for this position, you must have a JD from an accredited university and be licensed to practice law in Texas or willing to take the next available Texas bar exam. Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, is also required. Experience working with veterans and community services/partners is preferred.
