Duties:
- Lead M&A transactions, including both public and private company deals
- Draft and negotiate definitive transaction agreements
- Supervise and mentor junior M&A associates
- Coordinate with subject matter experts on key areas of M&A transactions
- Manage client relationships and provide legal guidance throughout the deal process
- Lead negotiations with transaction counterparties and manage all aspects of the transaction process
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in M&A and strategic transactions
- Experience serving as the lead associate on M&A transactions
- Strong track record in drafting and negotiating transaction agreements
- Ability to lead teams, supervise junior associates, and manage client relationships
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Active membership in the Bar of the state where the candidate will be based (New York, California, or Washington) or eligibility for admission
