Job Description The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently on complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation cases, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be skilled in legal writing and contract and legal analysis. The attorney’s duties and responsibilities will include: • Manage file through litigation process independently and as a part of the case team. • Conduct fact investigation. • Handle document productions and other discovery tasks. • Preparation of witnesses for deposition. • Taking and defending depositions. • Prepare pleadings, briefs, and motions. • Review and analyze insurance policies, contracts, and other legal documents. • Prepare detailed insurance coverage opinions. • Court hearing preparation and attendance. • Trial preparation and attendance.
