A law firm seeks an experienced and motivated Associate Attorney to join its growing legal team in the Sacramento, CA area. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 1+ years of experience in insurance defense to advance within a supportive and collaborative environment. Duties:

• Represent clients in various legal matters, with a focus on insurance defense.
• Conduct depositions, prepare legal documents, and collaborate with experts.
• Manage cases from inception to trial, maintaining thorough case documentation.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the legal process.
• Work alongside senior attorneys and other legal professionals to strategize case development.
• Engage in trial preparation, including the preparation of pleadings and motions.

Requirements:

• An active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• At least 1 year of experience in insurance defense or related litigation.
• Proven ability to handle legal matters independently and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to grow professionally in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Trial experience is a plus but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills:

• Expertise in legal research, writing, and drafting of legal documents.
• Proficiency with deposition and trial preparation.
