# Environmental Associate

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is seeking an experienced and collaborative attorney to join its highly ranked and nationally recognized Environmental practice group as an on-track associate in its San Francisco office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on precedent-setting legal matters with a team that values direct client contact, mentoring, and training.

## Qualifications

The successful applicant should have two to five years of experience practicing environmental law in the context of compliance counseling, enforcement defense, litigation, permitting and other regulatory authorizations, or agency rulemaking. Preference will be given to those with experience or strong interest in air quality regulation and climate change.

Applicants must possess self-motivation, strong intellectual curiosity, good judgment, responsiveness, perseverance, and excellent written and oral communication skills. is required.

## Salary

At the time of posting, the expected salary range for this position for full-time on-track associates is $225,000 to $345,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education, training, skill sets, licensure and certifications, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
