This full-time position will involve providing holistic legal support for standard and non-standard advisory transactions in the ., Canada, and Latin America. The successful candidate will also act as a subject matter expert for all legal and regulatory matters related to M&A and advisory transactions, and collaborate with other departments to stay informed on new regulatory initiatives, market trends, and changes in law. Additionally, they will monitor legal and regulatory developments for the Investment Banking business and work closely with other departments including Compliance, Conflicts, Global Banking Operating Office, and Risk.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a JD degree with a current Bar Admission in New York or Tennessee, along with 5-8 years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel. They should also possess strong knowledge of M&A and advisory transactions, the ability to work collaboratively across products and divisions, and proven talent in negotiating complex documents. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are also required, as well as the ability to challenge stakeholders at all levels.
