This is an excellent opportunity for a talented attorney to work on complex and high-profile cases in the areas of securities, commodities, and antitrust. H2: Responsibilities The Litigation Associate will be responsible for: - Conducting in-depth factual and legal research to assess the merits of potential and newly filed class actions - Prosecuting litigation from inception through trial by drafting pleadings, responding to dispositive motions, and managing affirmative and responsive discovery H2: Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates must have: - Strong law school academic credentials, such as a strong GPA/ranking, law journal experience, or other compelling factors, or judicial clerkship experience - 2-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in securities, commodities, and/or antitrust - Excellent research and writing skills - Genuine interest in a career at a law firm focusing on financial matters - Ability to balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment - Strong work ethic, organizational, team building, and communication skills - Proactive, resourceful, and driven by professional growth - Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel - Admitted to the Illinois bar and in good standing H2: Compensation The expected annual base salary for this role ranges from $100,000 - $125,000, based on a variety of factors such as education, years of experience, competency levels, and other relevant skills and qualifications.
