This position requires a professional with a strong background in liability defense and exceptional litigation skills to effectively represent clients across a diverse caseload.

Duties:

• Case Management: Oversee a range of general liability defense cases, including those involving premises liability, personal injury, and property damage.
• Litigation: Lead clients through all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and trial proceedings.
• Client Interaction: Maintain effective communication with clients, offering strategic legal guidance and updates on case developments.
• Legal Research and Writing: Conduct in-depth legal research and draft essential documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Court Appearances: Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.
• Settlement Negotiations: Participate in settlement discussions and alternative dispute resolution to secure favorable client outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services and achieve optimal case management.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in general liability defense litigation.
• License: Active membership with the California State Bar.
• Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of California state and federal court procedures.
• Communication: Proficient oral and written communication abilities.
• Case Management: Proven track record of handling a high-volume caseload efficiently.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• An active member of the California State Bar.
