Job Description:

- Seeking a junior associate attorney to join our team in Fresno

- Practice areas include trucking and transportation, personal injury, general liability, mass and toxic torts, commercial litigation, construction, employment, professional liability and agribusiness
- Ability to prepare pleadings and discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare for trial preferred but not required
- Minimum billable hour requirements lowered

Requirements:

- Licensed to practice in California
- 0-3 years of experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Familiarity with litigation process and procedures

Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare for trial
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Attend court hearings and conferences
- Collaborate with team members on case strategy and development
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documents
- Meet billable hour requirements and contribute to overall success of the firm
