A law firm seeks a dedicated Litigation Associate to join its Seattle office. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex litigation cases in a collaborative and supportive environment. Handle various litigation matters, including construction, contract disputes, personal injury, and premises liability cases
Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and memoranda
Take and defend depositions
Present oral arguments in court
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex cases
Assist in trial preparation and appellate matters
Maintain and develop client relationships
Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience
Experience in construction, contract disputes, personal injury, or premises liability litigation
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to case management
Trial and appellate experience preferred
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the state of Washington
Excellent legal research and writing abilities
Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presentation skills
Ability to work as part of a team with attorneys, legal assistants, and paralegals
Effective time management and organizational skills
