A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the District Court of Delaware. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic credentials, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to handle a diverse caseload of varying complexities independently. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can excel in a fast-paced team environment.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents related to intellectual property litigation cases.
  • Represent clients in District Court of Delaware and other relevant courts, both in court hearings and through written pleadings.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients regarding intellectual property issues, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys in the firm on case strategy, client consultations, and trial preparation.
  • Participate in all aspects of litigation, from case initiation to post-trial motions and appeals.
  • Stay current on changes in intellectual property laws and regulations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate case records, billing, and timekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Delaware State Bar.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on intellectual property litigation in the District Court of Delaware.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a significant caseload of varying complexity.
