Supervising and providing guidance to non-lawyer staff on legal matters and ethical obligations.
Strategizing on the best course of action for clients and advocating for their legal rights.
Staying informed about changes in immigration law and regulations.
Reviewing and editing USCIS applications and supporting materials.
Providing training and support to the paralegal team and other non-lawyer staff.
Identifying potential immigration relief options for clients.
Attending interviews with USCIS.
Continuously improving and streamlining legal processes.

Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
. degree from an ABA-approved law school and active membership in good standing of a state bar.
Previous experience working with and supervising non-lawyer staff.
Familiarity with immigration law, particularly family and humanitarian immigration.
Strong advocacy skills and a passion for helping immigrants without documentation legalize their status.
Ability to adapt and innovate in a constantly changing legal landscape.
Strong leadership skills and a dedication to hard work.

Experience:

. degree from an ABA-approved law school.
Active membership in good standing of a state bar.
Experience working with non-legal staff.
Previous experience in an immigration law firm, particularly with humanitarian and family-based visas.
Familiarity with VAWA, T-Visa, U-Visa, Asylum, Medical DA, I-601, DS-260, DS-160, I-130, and N-400 applications.
Experience advocating for clients and strategizing on the best course of action for their legal rights.
Familiarity with changes in immigration law and regulations.
Leadership experience and a strong work ethic.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
