A law firm in Baltimore is seeking a Real Estate Partner with experience in sophisticated real estate transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have a portable business or ongoing relationships with real estate clients and hands-on experience with real estate development and finance, including structuring transactions, entity formation, joint venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, commercial leases, and financing documents.
Job Duties:
- Independently handle sophisticated real estate transactional matters.
- Manage the entire process of real estate development and finance.
- Structure transactions and review, draft, and negotiate various real estate documents.
- Work on multiple matters concurrently, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Negotiate effectively and advocate for clients while maintaining congenial relationships with opposing counsel, colleagues, and clients.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in Maryland.
- Experience working independently on real estate transactional matters.
- Portable business or ongoing relationships with real estate clients preferred.
- Hands-on experience with real estate development and finance.
- Excellent drafting and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple matters concurrently.
- Effective negotiation skills and ability to maintain congenial relationships.
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Admission to practice law in Maryland.
