A law firm in Baltimore is seeking a Real Estate Partner with experience in sophisticated real estate transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have a portable business or ongoing relationships with real estate clients and hands-on experience with real estate development and finance, including structuring transactions, entity formation, joint venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, commercial leases, and financing documents.

 

Job Duties:

  • Independently handle sophisticated real estate transactional matters.
  • Manage the entire process of real estate development and finance.
  • Structure transactions and review, draft, and negotiate various real estate documents.
  • Work on multiple matters concurrently, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
  • Negotiate effectively and advocate for clients while maintaining congenial relationships with opposing counsel, colleagues, and clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Maryland.
  • Experience working independently on real estate transactional matters.
  • Portable business or ongoing relationships with real estate clients preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with real estate development and finance.
  • Excellent drafting and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple matters concurrently.
  • Effective negotiation skills and ability to maintain congenial relationships.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in Maryland.
