Bodman Law Firm is seeking a talented and experienced corporate attorney to join our Business Practice Group (BPG) in any of our office locations. As a member of the BPG, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of transactional matters and collaborate with specialists from other practice groups to provide comprehensive legal counsel to our clients. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in general corporate matters such as drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, handling securities law compliance matters, and negotiating investment transactions
- Draft core company governance documents related to client operations and material transactions
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Develop strong client relationships and provide high-quality work product
- Stay up-to-date on cutting-edge developments in the legal field

Qualifications:

- 3-6 years of experience as a transactional attorney in a broad corporate practice at a large or mid-sized law firm

- Licensed attorney in good standing in Illinois, Michigan, California, or Texas (remote work options available)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Desire to mentor and train junior associates and support staff
