Responsibilities:
As a litigation attorney at our firm, you will have a range of responsibilities, including:
- Reviewing discovery and other case documents
- Summarizing medical records and highlighting important information
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents
- Providing reports to clients on the status of their case and the next steps to be taken
- Identifying, researching, and analyzing legal issues
- Attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and other legal proceedings with the managing attorney
- Managing multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor and seeking assistance when needed
- Keeping track of client deadlines and appointments

Requirements:
- Experience in civil litigation is a plus, but not required
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to manage day-to-day tasks
- Desire to learn and grow in the legal profession
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills to work effectively with senior attorneys, partners, staff, clients, opposing counsel, and the court system
- Experience with billing for time is a plus, but not required
