Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking an experienced Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Associate to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global AmLaw 50 full-service law firm with over 1,000 attorneys across 16 offices worldwide.

The Financial Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice of Sheppard Mullin has been a key element of the firm's practice since its founding over 90 years ago. As part of a large, broad-based commercial law firm, our commercial lending and financial transactions team is comprised of attorneys specializing in all facets of highly structured financial transactions.

The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years’ experience in Financial Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy matters and transactional finance, with some commercial real estate experience and familiarity with the asset class being helpful. Candidates with clerkship experience in US Federal Bankruptcy Court are strongly encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate must be admitted to and a member in good standing of the California State Bar. The pay range for this position is $215,000 to $250,000.

### Qualifications

* Commercial real estate experience and familiarity with the asset class being helpful
* Clerkship experience in US Federal Bankruptcy Court being strongly encouraged

The successful candidate must be admitted to and a member in good standing of the California State Bar.

### Salary and Application Information

The pay range for this position is $215,000 to $250,000.
