Associate General Counsel- ENGIE Energy Marketing NA, Inc.
- Responsible for providing legal support and expertise for the wholesale energy trading business within ENGIE's Global Energy Management & Sales (GEM) platform.
- Collaborate with business team to achieve commercial goals while identifying and mitigating risks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements related to energy commodities and renewable power purchase.
- Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in at least one state in the United States.
- Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, preferably with a top-tier firm and combination of outside counsel and prior in-house experience.
- Deep expertise in wholesale energy markets and strong communication skills required.
- Ability to analyze complex business situations and provide risk mitigation recommendations in a commercially minded manner.
- Must possess a valid . driver's license and be willing to comply with ENGIE's policy on COVID vaccination and testing.
- Eligible for hybrid work policy.
