Job Title: Immigration Attorney - EOIR at Law Firm in Dallas, TX Salary: Competitive, based on experience Experience: 1-5 years of Immigration Law Experience Responsibilities: - Explain immigration concepts and provide strategic solutions - Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings in the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals - Manage caseload and client interaction - Collaborate with a team of Immigration Attorneys and legal assistants - Conduct intake with detained individuals at centers - Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions - Review immigration applications and make necessary adjustments - Work with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law - Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and determine necessary strategy - Prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony - Provide legal analysis for clients to determine potential case benefits - Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases Qualifications: - 1-5 years of Immigration Law Experience - Team player with strong interpersonal skills - Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish) - Experience with Case Management Software preferred - Record of successfully managing legal cases and a caseload - Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, catered lunches, competitive compensation package, 401k plan, paid parking, paid time off, and more!
