Job Description:
- Seeking an Associate with 2+ years of tax controversy experience
- Practical experience with tax disputes (tax controversy, disputes, litigation, audits, and appeals)
- Experience with federal income and estate/gift tax issues
- Previous experience with law firm, accounting firm, IRS, Tax Court, and/or Department of Justice (Tax Division) preferred
- Degree in accounting, CPA license, or . in Tax strongly preferred
- Excellent academic and employment credentials required
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Must be admitted to practice in at least one state (Georgia is a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Handle tax disputes and controversies
- Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and office staff
- Communicate effectively with clients and government agencies
- Conduct research and analysis on complex tax issues
- Prepare legal briefs and memoranda
- Represent clients in tax audits, appeals, and litigation
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations

Requirements:
- 2+ years of tax controversy experience
- Practical experience with tax disputes and federal income and estate/gift tax issues
