Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated Insurance Litigation Associate to join its growing team in Raleigh, NC. This position focuses on insurance coverage matters and litigation. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for those experienced in handling insurance coverage disputes. A dual bar admission, particularly in Georgia, is considered a valuable asset. This role offers the opportunity to work with a team that values both professional development and legal excellence.Duties:Handle a variety of litigation matters with a focus on insurance coverage disputes.Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and motions.Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Provide legal advice to clients on complex insurance coverage issues.Work collaboratively with other attorneys in the firm to develop case strategies.Engage in all aspects of pre-trial discovery, including interrogatories, depositions, and document reviews.Manage cases independently with minimal supervision, while also working in a team environment.Requirements:3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage matters preferred.Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.Excellent academic credentials, with top 25% of class preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in North Carolina.Dual bar admission, particularly in Georgia, is a plus.Skills:Proficient in legal research and writing.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively.High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
