SENIOR MANAGING ATTORNEY, CLEAN AIR PROGRAM:

Organization: Environmental Integrity Project (EIP)
Job Title: Senior Managing Attorney, Clean Air Program
Location: Washington, DC (other locations considered)

Core Responsibilities:
- Shape and oversee Clean Air legal advocacy with Director of Law & Policy
- Develop and implement legal strategies to reduce air pollution
- Directly supervise lawyers and ensure quality of legal actions
- Work with internal and external experts to support advocacy efforts
- Represent EIP and other organizations in litigation and administrative proceedings
- Serve as spokesperson for EIP in media interviews and public communications
- Maintain relationships with funders and draft grant proposals and reports

Qualifications:
- Law degree and active bar membership in good standing
- 8+ years of legal experience with strong understanding of Clean Air Act law and policy
- 3+ years of experience supervising legal staff
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and management skills
- Excellent analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
- Passion for protecting public health and the environment
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners
- Prior experience or commitment to working with communities impacted by pollution
- Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and judgment
