Job Title: Family Law AttorneyJob Overview: A reputable law firm in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a full-time Family Law Attorney to join its team. The firm handles a wide range of family law cases, including high-end and complex trials and appellate matters. The attorney will manage a caseload of trial and appellate cases and gain invaluable experience working alongside some of the most respected professionals in family law.Duties:Handle family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and asset division, both at the trial and appellate levels.Manage an individual caseload and represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations.Provide legal counsel and strategy for ongoing family law matters.Draft, review, and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and appeals.Research and analyze case law, statutes, and legal precedents to support cases.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and appellate cases.Requirements:Active license to practice law in Arizona.0-5 years of legal experience, preferably in family law.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Willingness to learn and develop expertise in family law and appeals.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Arizona State Bar License required.Skills:Strong legal research and writing skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.Experience with family law procedures and Title 25 (preferred but not required).Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.Job Location:Tempe, AZBenefits:Competitive pay.401(k) plan.Dental and health insurance.Paid time off (PTO).
