Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop the Global Privacy Legal team
- Coordinate and supervise legal activities related to privacy program globally
- Collaborate with Legal Privacy teammates, Compliance colleagues, and Chief Privacy Officer
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on data privacy issues
- Train legal colleagues and develop resources
- Advise on compliance with privacy laws and regulations
- Monitor and review privacy-related legislation

Skills & Experience:

- Deep expertise in privacy, data protection, and program management
- Knowledge of data security and financial privacy laws
- Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies and their privacy implications
- Interest in financial services technology and emerging technology
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Global thinker and collaborator
- Ability to translate legal advice into actionable policies and programs
- Team player with coaching and mentoring skills

Qualifications:

- 12+ years of experience in-house or at a reputable law firm
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience advising clients in financial services, mobile payments, and technology industries preferred
- Relevant technical certifications preferred
