Sacramento office of a **Members Only** Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an insurance defense associate attorney preferably with 3-5 years of civil litigation defense experience with an emphasis on general liability insurance defense. The candidate will direct and support the investigation on all assigned cases. Will analyze and assess case value to aid in early resolution. Maintain communication with the client through the course of the claim. Comply with all litigation and budgeting guidelines. Perform legal research on relevant issues throughout the course of the litigation process. Draft meet and confer letters to opposing counsel regarding discovery issues. Represent the interests of the client(s) at hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings. Prepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearings. Negotiate settlements on behalf of the client(s). Must have current good standing with the CA State Bar.
