EXPERIENCE INFORMATION

The ideal candidate for this position will have a paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-Approved school, as well as experience working as a paralegal. They should also have work and/or educational experience with Criminal Law and be familiar with using legal research databases such as LexisNexis and Westlaw. Strong analytical and research skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, are also necessary for this role. Proficiency in MS Office tools and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are also important qualifications for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyzing state and local codes and drafting charging information for our criminal charging language database.
- Researching legal issues that may affect our software and clients.
- Keeping track of state legislation.
- Assisting with testing of legal software features and functionality.
- Providing support for system implementations and demos.
- Assisting the Client Services Team with projects and assignments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Paralegal certificate or degree from an ABA-Approved school.
- Previous experience working as a paralegal.
- Familiarity with Criminal Law through work or education.
- Proficiency in using legal research databases like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
