A law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Patent Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidates will have 1-6 years of patent litigation experience, superior academic credentials, and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Degrees or industry experience in high-tech or life sciences fields are preferred, and candidates must be barred in the state.

Job Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on patent litigation matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents for patent litigation cases.
  • Manage and coordinate discovery processes, including document review, production, and deposition preparation.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case strategy and progression.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and advice to clients on patent-related matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in patent law and relevant industry developments.
  • Prepare and present cases before the . Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and federal courts.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client service.

Requirements

  • 1-6 years of patent litigation experience.
  • Admission to the bar in the state of Washington.
  • Superior academic credentials from an accredited law school.
