Job description: The role of Attorney at HDR involves providing contractual support for engineering, architecture, and professional consulting services. The ideal candidate is hardworking, has excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, and is able to anticipate and deliver legal support to meet the needs of a dynamic, diverse, and global business team. They should also possess strong written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to manage various assignments. Primary objectives: The primary duties of this role include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts for engineering and professional services, as well as providing legal support for project issues. The Attorney will work closely with senior leadership and staff to build a trusted legal partnership. Other responsibilities of the role include conducting risk assessments, participating in negotiations, advising on contract administration and claims avoidance, and collaborating with business group counsel.
