Law Firm Associate – Litigation Defense

Law Firm is seeking a qualified attorney with at least two years of experience in all phases of litigation defense to join their litigation boutique of 170 employees. The Associate will be expected to manage files through the litigation process independently and as part of a case team, as well as handle document productions, witness preparation, deposition taking and defending, review, summarize and analyze medical records, and assist with juror research. The Associate must be licensed in Missouri and Illinois, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong advocacy skills.

Responsibilities:
• Manage file through litigation process independently and as a part of the case team.
• Conduct fact investigation.
• Handle document productions and other discovery tasks.
• Preparation of witnesses for deposition.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Review, summarize and analyze medical records.
• Assist with juror research.
• Court hearing preparation.
• Trial preparation and attendance.

Qualifications:
• At least two years of experience in all phases of litigation defense

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
