- Independently handle files from start to finish, including trial, in various insurance defense areas
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as needed
- Mentor and supervise junior associates and legal support staff

Requirements:

- Juris Doctorate degree and active license to practice law in Ohio
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of insurance defense areas such as auto accidents, personal injury, premises liability, and construction litigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a large caseload
- Experience with trial preparation and courtroom procedures
- Prior experience mentoring and supervising junior associates and legal support staff is a plus
